What is a Rental Casket
A rental casket, also known as a ceremonial or cremation casket, is a casket explicitly designed for temporary use during funeral ceremonies or gatherings before cremation. It typically consists of an outer shell made of wood or metal with a removable interior insert. The internal insert, known as an "insert shell" or "rental insert," is the component that holds the deceased for viewing purposes. After the ceremony or gathering, the insert shell is removed, leaving the outer shell intact for future use.
